When should I send my save the dates and invitations?

As a general rule, I recommend to send your save the dates a year before your wedding, and your invitations 4-6 months before. If you’re not going for save the dates, then send your invitations a little sooner.

When should I order my wedding stationery?

For templates suites, the process usually takes 6 weeks from design to delivery. For bespoke suites, the process usually takes 2-3 months from design to delivery. I’d recommend booking in advance in order to secure your studio slot.

How is the stationery produced?

Special printing such as letterpress and foil are printed by a trusted selection of handpicked suppliers. Other printing is done by me and the finishing and assembly of your stationery is also done by me to ensure each and every piece is made to perfection.

What is hot foil printing?

It is a printing technique that is used to create a special finish of the printing products, by applying metallic or pigmented foil to the surface. A metal stamping plate needs to be manufactured for each design from a solid block of metal. It leaves a embossed foil into the print.

What is digital foil printing?

Digital foiling as a print method is just as its name implies. That is to say—it’s completely digital. This technique is simple but effective, as the foil finish applies itself to the paper directly from a computer file. This file will tell the digital foil machine exactly where the foil finish needs to print onto the paper. Digital printing is extremely cost-effective and will have a faster turnaround time than traditional foiling techniques. The end product will be flat with lamination, without any texture or debossing.

What is letterpress printing?

Letterpress is the oldest form of printing. In this method, a surface with raised letters is inked and pressed to the surface of the printing substrate to reproduce an image in reverse.

I’ve already booked but I need to change the quantity of my stationery. Is that possible?

Yes, you can change your quantities right up until the point of production. Please bear in mind that if you need to reduce your quantity, the unit cost will be higher than your original quote due to factoring in design and set up time, as well as material costs. The cost will be added or deducted from your final payment.

Do you do venue illustrations?

Yes! I hand draw the venue and then amend it digitally for print. I will also send you it as jpeg for you to keep. A venue illustration costs £80.

Do you do calligraphy?

On the majority of my designs, I hand write your names which is then amended digitally for print. If you would like to keep this as a separate file please request this and I'd be happy to send over. I also offer handwritten name cards. If you would like any bespoke calligraphy, please feel free to get in contact.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Yes, the minimum order quantity for save the dates and invitations is 30. If you are having a micro wedding, please email me and I'd be happy to help!

How can I check your availability?

If you’d like to check my availability before,  you can send me a message via email to georgia.bride@btinternet.com

Can you accommodate rush jobs?

Depending on the complexity of your stationery and how busy I am, please contact me and more often than not I’ll be able to meet your deadline. A rush fee will be charged, which is dependent on your order. This will be outlined in your quotation.

How do I book?

For Bespoke suites, once you are happy with your quotation, let me know that you would like to book. I will send you an invoice for your deposit/s, which will secure your studio slot/s. I kindly ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit before starting your designs.

What does your stationery cost?

Bespoke designs start from £350, plus printing and material costs. Your quote will depend on the complexity and time that will be dedicated to your design, the printing methods you request and number of pieces required for your wedding stationery. Wedding collections start at £53.

Do you offer payment plans?

Currently we don't offer payment plans but this is something we will look into in the future.

Can I change the colours on my stationery and signage?

Yes! If you like our collections, but the colours don’t quite match the look of your wedding day, you can ask to change the colours of some of the illustrations and the type. Please note, that there may be a small design fee to accommodate  time.

Can I order samples of your stationery?

Yes, you can order beautifully packaged sample packs in our shop.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we don't offer international shipping but this is something we are looking into.

Can you design stationery in another langage?

Yes! As long as you take full responsibility for the proof reading. Arabic would need to be sent as an illustrated file.
