Please take the time to read through our Terms and conditions. All our orders (including shop purchases) are taken in the understanding that the customer has read and accepted out Terms & Conditions. If you have any questions, please let us know before you purchase from us.

“We” are:

Georgia Bride, & received studio, Milton Keynes

(“Printer” “&received studio”)

“You” are:

The person purchasing Goods and/or Specified Goods from us
(and where there is more than one person, they shall be jointly and severally liable).

(“Client”)

Definitions 

In this agreement:

“Assignment” - means a combination of the Goods, Specified Goods and Extra Work you have instructed us to provide.

“Brief” - means the instructions you give to us to create the Specified Goods.

“Deposit” - means the sum paid by the Client at the commencement of the Assignment to secure the date of the delivery of the Goods, Specified Goods and any Extra Work to allow the Printer to commence work under the Brief

“Extra Work” - means all of the work we do and materials we buy to prepare or produce Specified Goods in accordance with the Brief.  This will usually mean creating bespoke designed stationery, papers, documents or cards.

“Goods” - means any of the Goods we offer for sale on Our Website, or, if the context requires, Goods we sell to you.  It includes Specified Goods.

“Intellectual Property” -  means Intellectual Property of every sort, whether or not registered or registrable in any country, including Intellectual Property of kinds coming into existence after today; and including; among others, designs, copyrights, software, discoveries, know-how, together with all rights which are derived from those rights.

“Our Website” - means any website of ours and includes all web pages controlled by us.

“Quotation” - means a breakdown of the cost of your Assignment

“Specified Goods” - means Goods which have been subject to Extra Work to your Brief.

“Terms” - means these Terms and Conditions. 

Payments 

​1.1. A deposit of 50% of the total order price must be taken to confirm your stationery & creation slot, which is due in 7 days upon invoice. Failure to  meet the deadline can cause delays to the design process and can result in loss of your design slot.

1.2. Deposits are non refundable and non transferable. 

1.3. The remaining balance payment is due before production, date upon agreement.

1.4. Payments should be made via paypal or bank transfer only.

1.5. Any in change in numbers will be taken off the remaining balance only and can only be done  where possible and if the artwork hasn't been sent to print.

1.6. Final numbers or order changes of Invitations and/or stationery must total no less than £50 of the original amount quoted.

1.8. Your stationery is due to be ready for the agreed time frame, unless your payment is late which means your slot may be moved, and if we encounter delays from our suppliers due to supply issues within the UK. We will continuously update you when we have any updates to give. 

1.9. As of 05/09/2022 unless payment in full is taken at the time of booking, we have the right to increase the price of any stationery ordered up to 20% due to continuous price increases from our suppliers.

2.0. Quotes are valid for 14 days.

 

Postage & Packaging 

​2.1. Postage will be charged accordingly in regards to approximate weight of invitations & stationery. Postage fees for online shop orders will be quoted at checkout.

2.2. When ordering Invitations and stationery, there will be separate charges of postage and packaging that will be applied due to separate packages being sent.

2.3. If numbers increase/decrease, this may change the postage price. 

2.4. If you live in the local area, collection for your stationery can be arranged.

2.5. All orders are sent via DPD, Royal Mail or Parcel Force. You will be notified when your order is complete and your order is ready to be shipped. 

 

Our Designs

3.1. Due to the nature of our handmade invitations and stationery, items appearance may vary slightly from each other, and any previous samples ordered. 

3.2. Prices are subject to change. However orders that have been paid in full will not be affected. 

3.3. The ribbon colours that are provided by &received studio via website or pictures, may not be a true representation of the colours through your screen. If you wish to see exact colours, you should ask for us to send you samples of ribbon at a small charge. 

3.4. Most of our card stock is hand died and some may have a texture. Because of this some text and images can sometimes be affected and may be dull/have lines etc. Materials such as Ribbon, Embellishments etc are also hand died and created, which may mean changes in the appearance.

3.5. &received studio holds the right to take and use pictures of all invitations and stationery created on social media for advertisement, unless asked by the customer otherwise.

3.6. If more than one design is required e.g. blank Invitations/word & phrase changes, this is to be requested at the time of us creating your designs before sign off. Any extra designs will be charged a one off payment of £10.00

3.7. Guest Names for Invitations and day stationery E.g. Table Plan, Place Cards etc are to be sent to &received studio using the spreadsheets they provide you via email. Any errors are in fault of the customer, and any changes made should be made by the customer.

3.8. Any changes to spreadsheets made by &received studio should be agreed by the customer. Any errors made to the spreadsheet if the customer agrees for the changes to be made instead of sending a new spreadsheet to &received studio are at the customers fault.

 

Samples

​4.1. Samples are available in all designs, and will be charged per item. 

4.2. Postage may be charged on samples. 

4.3. Samples will not be customized in wording, and will be provided with general information. 

4.4. Please ensure to ask in regards to waiting times on samples if you are unsure. Otherwise times may be stated on the website.

 

Placing Your Order

5.1. We recommend ordering additional ‘spare’ invitations with your main order. We cannot create any extra items at a later date.

5.2. We advise that if you are uncertain about the order process or have any questions that you please ask us before placing your order.

 

Express Slots

​6.1. Orders placed with less than 4 weeks for production, or which require extra hours/days to be worked will be referred to as ‘Express Slots’.

6.2. Express Slots may be charged an additionally to cover the cost of special delivery of items from suppliers and to cover extra hours needing to be worked.

6.3. Express Slots must be paid in full before work will commence. 

6.4. If you would like an exact quote for an express slot, please email or message &received studio.

 

Cancellations

​7.1. In the event of the customer cancelling an order, all moneys paid including the deposit payment and any payments made additionally will be lost. Any items purchased for your order will remain the property of &received studio.

7.2. Cancellation orders are non transferable.

7.3. Deposits are non transferable.

7.4. Once orders have been placed via our online shop, these can not be cancelled.

7.5. The services may be terminated by the Printer if payment of the price is not made in accordance with these Terms, or if the Client commits a material breach of any of these terms and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days of being notified in writing, or if the Client enters into any form of insolvency arrangement. Upon termination the Client shall immediately pay any outstanding sums to the Printer.

7.6. &received studio reserves the right to cancel an order at any stage should any of the Terms not be adhered to. If a Client does not respond to emails, proofs or fails to make payments on time, &received studio  reserves the right to treat the order as cancelled.

7.7. If a Client decides to cancel an order after paying the Deposit, they must let D&received studio know as soon as possible. All cancellations will result in the loss of the Deposit. Under no circumstances will this be reconsidered (including circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic).

7.8. Personalised orders cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances. 

7.9. If you decide to postpone your wedding (including circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic) &received studio will try to move your booking, along with the Deposit, to accommodate working around your new wedding date, but this is not guaranteed. If we cannot accommodate the change of date this will be a cancellation and will result in the loss of the Deposit if already paid. Under no circumstances will this be reconsidered (including circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic).

Proofs

​8.1. A proof of your wedding invitation and or stationery will be emailed to you. It is essential that you check the proof thoroughly to ensure all details are correct and that there are no spelling errors and all information is correct.

8.2. Work will not commence on your invitations until the proof has been approved by filling in our acceptance form which will be sent via email. Delays in providing your wording to enable us to create your proofs or approval of your proofs may delay the start of work on your order. This in turn is likely to result in your order not being completed. &received studio accepts no responsibility in this circumstance.

8.3. Any changes to invitations requested after your approval may incur an extra cost, and/or may not be possible where timescales are unreasonably tight. &received studio accepts no responsibility in this circumstance. 

8.4. It is your responsibility to make sure all guest names, table names and all other items are spelled correctly. 

8.5. Please note that when you provide your information, we mainly copy and paste. However, this is not always possible, and some information may have to be typed by us &received studio. Due to this reason, human error is inevitable. It is your responsibility on receipt of your proofs to check that all spelling and information is correct. After your proofs have been approved changes may not be able to be made. Please refer to 8.3

8.6. A total of 3 rounds of proofs will be provided, and any further proofs after this will incur a charge of £5.00 per round.

Damage

​9.1. All of our invitations and stationery are very carefully packaged. In the unlikely event that any items are damaged, it must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. 

9.2. Any damage must be shown to &received studio in pictures/video so the appropriate action can be taken and sent to the courier.

9.3. The Goods must be returned to us as soon as any defect is discovered but not later than 1 month from receipt to you. Please ensure to keep all original packaging.

9.4. If any defect is found, then we shall repair or replace the goods or refund the full cost you have paid including the cost of returning the goods.

9.5.. Our Goods are hand-made and are therefore unique products.  Part of the character and nature of such Goods is that they are subject to colour and shade variations.  Therefore, defect shall not include:

●      Colour variations.

●      Natural variations.

●      Errors not identified by you, or any changes requested, at the time or after the Brief has been approved 

●      Please note that the colour on your screen may differ from printed colour as each screen is ‘calibrated’ differently and this is particularly noticeable on mobile devices. Please bear in mind that printers also vary and therefore the colours may differ slightly. However, please be assured that your final stationery will be printed on the highest quality professional printers.

●      If ordering a combination of foil printing and digitally printed items, please be aware that it may not be possible to exactly match the colours due to the variation in each print technique. If Pantone colour targets have been specified this is simply a visual guide and it is not possible to accurately match Pantone colours using a digital CMYK print process.

 

Posting your Invitations

10.1. For invitations with large embellishments and delicate parts, we recommend posting your invitation in a bubble wrap envelope for added protection. 

Day Stationery

11.1. The information must be provided to &received studio via their chosen format no later than 1 month before your wedding.

11.2. The designs will be created and sent to you via PDF for your approval. (Please see T's & C's Proofs.)

11.3. If more than one spreadsheet has been sent to &received studio due to error from the customer, they hold no responsibility for any mistakes made.

11.4. For collection orders all items will be ready to collection 3 days prior to your wedding.

11.5. For postal orders unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, your order will be shipped to be received no later than 3 days prior to your wedding.

Intellectual Property

12.1.   The Intellectual Property is all work we do in the process leading to completion of the Specified Goods and in the completed Specified Goods, belongs to us.  You cannot copy, reprint or use the designs for any other purpose or goods, save as set out below.

12.2. If you change or create derivative versions of the Specified Goods, the Intellectual Property in those changed or derived versions also belongs to us.

12.3. We now grant an exclusive non-commercial licence to you, to use the Intellectual Property, by the use of the Specified Goods only, for a period of 99 years.  You may not assign this licence in any circumstances.

12.4. All stationery artwork and designs remain the copyright of &recevied studio and may not be reproduced in any form without prior written permission from &recevied studio

12.5. &received studio reserves the right to use any stationery created for you to promote their products and services. On occasion &received studio will use your email to ask for feedback and voting in awards. However your contact details are held in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please contact me if you would like your details removed. 

Miscellaneous Matters

13.1. Verbal or email instructions by the Client to proceed will constitute an acceptance in full of these Terms including the price. 

13.2.The Printer will use reasonable care and skill in fulfilling the Assignment. 

13.3. The Terms do not give any right to any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act.

13.4. Each party will keep the confidential information of the other party and any third party confidential and secret, and only use it for the purposes of supplying the services or making proper use of the services. Each party recognises and accepts its obligations with regard to the control and the processing of personal data under the current data protection legislation and regulations. 13.5. You grant the Printer consent to use any work including photographs created as part of the Assignment to show off our Goods and services and designs, together with the right to display images as part of our portfolio and to write about the Assignment on websites, and in our marketing materials.  If you do not wish to grant this consent, you must confirm this in writing or by email within 7 days of entering into this agreement.

13.6. Nothing in the Terms is intended to create a partnership or joint venture between the Printer and the Client, and no party has the right to act as agent for the other or to bind the other party in any way.

13.7. The Terms and any dispute under them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
